A Note from the Author
I began writing poetry in 2014, long before I ever imagined publishing a book. What started as personal writings tucked away in the Notes app on my iPhone eventually became a collection of reflections on the people, places, and experiences that have shaped me.
Some poems were written during moments of joy, but most came from periods when I could not quite find the words to express what I was feeling out loud. Over time, I began to realize that these pieces were part of a much larger story.
The Dawn & the Sun is my first published book, but more than anything, it is a celebration of creative expression, vulnerability, and the courage it takes to share something deeply personal with the world.
While these poems began as pieces of my own story, I hope that somewhere within these pages, you will recognize a little of yours.
